Joash is the lastborn of her who dropped out of school in Primary four and worked as a house girl at the age of fourteen. At that tender age she was raped and became pregnant. She was forced go back in the village to her mother who was helpless and HIV positive. After giving birth to her first born her mother forced her into marriage with the man who had raped her. She painfully accepted and became pregnant to the second born however the husband used to domestically violet her and was not supportive to the family. She left the first marriage and remarried hoping that things would be better. In this marriage she gave birth to Joash her last born. However, the second man was also not supportive at all and he abandoned them in a rented house and remarried another wife. Joash’s mother decided to leave marriage and start taking care of her three children as a single mother. She is working as a maid in a certain family where she goes very early every morning and returns in the evening back to her children. She seeks support for her last born as she struggles to educate even the first two.
