Want to know us more why us?, what does? and what is?
PaCT is a Ugandan National registered non-for-profit making organization affiliated to The Mityana Charity a registered charity in the United Kingdom to coordinate resources and support PaCT development projects in Uganda. We currently operate in six districts in Uganda that include Mityana, Mubende, Kiboga, Gomba, Kyankwanzi and Kassanda. Our community based programs strive at improving the well-being of all families we serve. To achieve long-term community based sustainable development, there is need for integration of key services such as education, health care, human rights and Economic Empowerment for a stable society.
The Education and Sponsorship Program which started in 1995 with only 6 primary children, has grown to see over 200 beneficiaries graduating in different fields and over 307 are currently in the program. The program aims at addressing the different education challenges faced by many families in Uganda which are desperately in need but cannot afford to pay school fees for their children. The challenge is mainly attributed to the death or desertion of one or both parents or often the death of both parents leaving a child with grandparents or distant relatives who might also be struggling to survive financially as they often have many other orphans to cater for. Your generous donation is used to change the life of a disadvantaged child to a more preferred status for the rest of his/her life through paying school fees to a decent school, provide basic education materials including a pair of school-going shoes, school bag, math equipment, and school writing materials. In addition, the donation helps to provide a light meal for the child while at school to ensure they don’t learn on an empty stomach and monitor children’s performance and wellbeing through school visits.
You can please sponsor a primary child at $30 a month and secondary student at $40.1 a month. "Sign up for sponsorship by following this link : https://www.pactug.org/pact-sponsors-form
